Reading for free

Headlines, summaries and the evidence behind every article are free. Without an account you can read 5 full articles a month in each title, and 10 once you sign in. Signing in needs only your email address: we send a link that works once.

What we publish is reporting and analysis. It is not investment, legal or tax advice, and it is never a recommendation to buy or sell anything. How we decide what counts as established, contested or asserted is set out on our method page; corrections are listed on our corrections page.

Free trial

Every reader can try All-Access once, free, for 14 days. No card is needed. The trial ends by itself and you return to the free plan; nothing is charged and there is nothing to cancel.

Paid subscriptions

Access to the paid subscription begins immediately after your payment is processed.

Teams, institutions and licences

Team seats, institutional seats and data licences are agreed by quote and invoice. The quote and its order form set the terms for those plans; where they say nothing, these terms apply.

Sponsoring the brief

Using what we publish

Our articles, evidence tables and brief are for your own reading. Quoting a short passage with a link to us is welcome. Republishing, reselling, bulk copying or using our content to train software needs a licence; ask subscriptions@futuresystemsreview.com.

Your account

Keep access to your email address secure, because sign-in links are sent there. You can close your account at any time from your account page; see our privacy notice for what that removes.

Our responsibility

We work hard to be accurate and we publish corrections when we are wrong, but we cannot promise that everything we publish is complete or free of error, and we are not responsible for decisions you make based on it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the consumer law of the place you live.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of South Africa, and the courts of South Africa have jurisdiction over any dispute about them. If you are a consumer living in another country, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of that country, and you may also bring a claim in the courts where you live.

Changes and contact

If we change these terms we will post the new version here and, for subscribers and sponsors, tell you by email before it applies. Questions about subscriptions or sponsorship: subscriptions@futuresystemsreview.com. Corrections: corrections@futuresystemsreview.com. Letters to the editor: letters@futuresystemsreview.com.
